Booking Policies & Procedures

By booking an appointment for makeup application services with FlyKreationz you are entering into a legal and binding contract. Please visit the SERVICES page to make an informed decision for your appointment type/time. Your booking/invoice will serve as your contract and will be considered legal and binding once your payment has been received/processed. The terms contract and invoice may be used interchangeably throughout. FlyKreationz provides full face makeup applications only. No partial services (Brow fill & sculpt/Glitter lips/lash applications, etc.) will be provided. Full payment is required at the time of booking. There is also a non-refundable and non-transferable retainer requirement. This amount will be 50% of your total service amount and will be the amount retained should you cancel your appointment (in advance). Bookings are completed via invoice processing/payment, payment of your invoice solidifies and confirms your appointment. NOTE: FKMA is a prepaid service provider.


NOTE: You are not scheduled for your appointment until your invoice has been processed. Invoices are due upon receipt (when sent) but may be granted a processing time of 24 hours of receipt during non-peak times. Invoices not processed timely will be cancelled without prior notification. When requesting an appointment directly, be sure to identify special requests such as, on location, early mornings, late nights, and/or blocked times. There will be an additional charge for specialty services and/or services to be performed outside of normal business hours and holidays. When booking online, please select the appropriate service(s).

  • BOOKINGS: You may Book Your Appointment Online or contact FlyKreationz Makeup Artistry (FKMA) directly via email, phone call or text 504-237-8844 for scheduling availability. Appointments may be booked 60 days to 48 hours in advance. Appointments booked after said timeframe will incur a short notice fee.

    • Please include the following information in your text or email communication:

1. Requested Appointment Date

2. Requested Appointment Time

3. Appointment Type (Traditional/Airbrush)

4. Add-Ons (if applicable)

5. Occasion (if applicable)

NOTE: For new clients I will need first and last names, a cell number, and an email address for invoicing.

  • Prior to any appointment:

- Please ensure your face is clean (and moisturized).

- Please ensure that your brows are cleaned (arched, waxed, tweezed).

- Please disclose any allergies or previous allergic reactions to makeup.

NOTE: FKMA reserves the right to use artistic freedom in generating the best looks possible for the client.

  • For direct contact (call/text/email) scheduling, once the appointment specifics have been discussed/verified, you will be emailed an invoice. If the date and time you wish to book for is not available in the online scheduler, please contact me to directly so we can determine if I can accommodate you.

  • If you wish to request an appointment and secure with a retainer, you must do so by contacting Fly directly so an invoice can be generated. The invoice will have the retainer due date (upon receipt) and the balance due date (one week prior to the actual appointment date). Invoice retainer payments not received within 24 hours will result in the invoice being cancelled. Also, balance payments not paid timely will result in cancellation and the appointment slot vacated.

  • BOOKING TIMES: All appointments have specific start times. Each makeup application requires a certain length of time to be completed and should not exceed the time limit. When reserving your appointment, book accordingly. Any additional makeup needs outside of what is stated for your appointment will only be performed at FKMA's discretion. Please be available and on time for appointments scheduled to follow your contract and not incur additional fees.

  • LARGE PARTIES: Due to strict adherence to scheduling and time constraints, FKMA may not be able to accept last minute services on the day of your event. Please ensure that every person that needs makeup application services is listed or accounted for on your booking/invoice. A certain amount of time per person is required to provide quality makeup application services. A time frame will be given for large party makeup applications with a by-name list (as provided by the client) indicating the order in which applications are to be performed. Guests of honor are usually the last to receive services, unless specified.

  • DELAYS: Will result in a late fee of $15.00 being assessed after 10 minutes or cancellation when a client is later than 15 minutes for a scheduled time or if the scheduled makeup exceeds allotted time because of client delays. 

  • SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Applications will take place at the FlyKreationz Makeup Studio located at 3827 Spencer Street, in Harvey, LA, unless an alternate location or personal location has been requested by the client (additional fee required) or identified by the artist. On location the clients must have an adequate set-up area or workstation/table and working electrical outlets.

  • LIABILITY: All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition(s) should be reported by the client prior to the makeup application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test for a negative reaction. Client(s) agree to release FKMA, from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. Also, you hold harmless FKMA from any claims related to accident or injury both on and off the premises. This includes from services, structures, or events of natural disaster and you acknowledge that you are receiving services at your own risk.

  • PARKING FEES: All parking, valet, or toll fees associated with on location makeup application services must be paid by client, when applicable.

  • PAYMENTS: Full payments are required to book appointments. Acceptable forms of payment are credit/debit cards via online booking, or CashApp and AfterPay via invoice sent to the client. If you opt to solidify your appointment with a retainer, you will be emailed an invoice for the deposit and the remaining balance will be due on the date specified on the invoice (7 days prior to the application date). Invoice payments are due within 24 hours of being sent to the client. ALL invoices not processed within 24 hours, will be cancelled.


  • USE OF IMAGES: FKMA will take still images or videos before and/or after appointments and may use all photographs, video, audio, and any other digitally stored media that is captured or recorded by FKMA and/or its representatives or agents on websites, brochures, flyers, social media platforms or for any other brand advertising. Client agrees to release all claims regarding use of his/her image for such purposes. Client also agrees to release name and contact information of professional photographers and/or videographers used for recording any event for which FKMA has been contracted to do makeup. Client agrees to release to FKMA use of said photographer's or videographer’s photographs and/or recordings.

  • TRAVEL: FKMA is available for distant travel outside of the New Orleans Metropolitan. Client is responsible for all associated fees to include (but not limited to) hotel, parking, fuel expense, transportation, and per diem (if applicable). Please contact FLY directly to discuss, 504.237.8844.

  • COVID-19: This is a highly contagious virus that spreads from person to person with direct or indirect contact. Explicit sanitation methods have always been in place, but new preventative measures have been put in place to further reduce the spread of the coronavirus. These best practices still do not offer a 100% guarantee regarding potential risks for being infected.

  1. Appointments will be limited due to a change in business hours to limit excessive exposure.

  2. Only one client at a time will be allowed in the studio for servicing. Please do not bring any extra people or pets. Minor children under the age of 16 may have a parent/guardian present. Parents/guardians accompanying minor children must wear a mask the entire time.

  3. Clients must text or call upon arrival and wait for confirmation to come into the studio.

  4. Clients must agree to have their temperature taken when they arrive for services, this includes parents/guardians accompanying minors. Anyone with a temperature more than 100 degrees will be refused entry/service.

  5. Clients that are not feeling well MUST reschedule at least (1) day/24 hours before your original appointment in order to prevent retainer loss. Some potential reasons to reschedule might include ALLERGIES, FEVER, RUNNY NOSE, SINUS ISSUES, HEADACHE, DRY COUGH, etc.

  6. Clients may be asked to wash/sanitize their hands upon entry and may be required to wear a mask at certain points throughout the application process.

  • COVID-19 LIABILITY WAIVER: When processing your payment for appointment scheduling you understand because ​makeup involves touch and close physical proximity over an extended period, there may be an elevated risk of disease transmission, including COVID-19. By scheduling an appointment with FKMA, you acknowledge that you are aware of the risks involved from receiving makeup applications during this time. You voluntarily assume the associated risks and release and hold harmless FKMA from any claims relating to said risks and you give consent to receive treatment at FKMA.


  • COVID-19 DISCLOSURE: Please disclose if you have had a fever within the last 24 hours of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher; if you have experienced any respiratory symptoms, to include sore throat, shortness of breath, or flu-like symptoms; or if you have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or RSV; or experiencing symptoms from COVID-19 or any of its variants, within the past 14 days.

  • INJURY/ILLNESS: If Fly is unable to perform the services agreed upon due to an emergency, illness, or unexpected occurrence a trusted substitute artist may be assigned. The artist will be informed of the contract/arrangements discussed and solidified with you or you may be provided a full refund.


  • CANCELLATION POLICY: FKMA reserves the right to terminate your appointment for any non-compliance of terms, whereas the contract will become void and 50% of monies retained are non-refundable. Also, FKMA has the right to refuse services to anyone if the artist(s) feels uncomfortable, threatened, or verbally abused in any way and if on location, reserves the right to leave the premises without completing services. Cancellations for large parties made 30 days prior to the event date will be refunded less the 50% non-refundable/non-transferable deposit amount. Large party cancellations must be made 30 days prior to the reserved date or you will be responsible for the full amount for services agreed upon in the contract. For individual appointments, booking arrangements may not be changed after the artists confirms appointment date and time. Last minute appointment cancellations, missed appointments, or changed/rescheduled appointments will NOT be eligible for full refund.

  • CONFIRMATION: Processing the required payment for your appointment confirms that you, the client, are aware of the terms and conditions of your invoice/contract and agree to services scheduled at the stated prices on the booking site or listed on your invoice.
